How to apply for NEW AEON Gold Visa/MasterCard Credit Card?

Download the NEW AEON Gold Visa / MasterCard Credit Card Application Form (you will need Adobe Acrobat to open this file). Print the NEW AEON Gold Visa / MasterCard Credit Card Application Form and complete all the necessary information. Please do not forget to attach all the required documents upon submission of the application form to our nearest branch / service counter. Alternatively you could mail in the application to AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad, Level 29, Menara Olympia, No. 8, Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur. Please call our Customer Care Centre at 03-2719 9999 if you require assistance.
Once AEON receives your application, AEON will confirm receipt on your application before proceeding with processing. AEON processing staff may call you personally to verify details. Please ensure the required information and documentation is complete to expedite processing.
Upon successful processing AEON will mail your AEON Card to the correspondence address (as stated in your registration/application form) or to the AEON branch of your choice for your collection.

Eligibility and Documents Required

Minimum age:

Principal card applicant must be at least 21 years of age.

Supplementary card applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

Minimum annual income:

Gold Card - RM36,000.

Classic Card - RM24,000.

Documents required (non-returnable):

I.C (both sides) including Supplementary card applicant(s) I.C (if applicable)

Latest 3 month payslip / Form B / EA.

Joining Fees
The fees are waived for all types of cards (unless stated).

Service Tax
Service tax will be imposed effective from 1st January 2010 and will be charged on every anniversary month.
• Principal Card - RM50
• Supplementary Card - RM25

Finance Charges

Effective 11th April 2009, Finance Charge of the outstanding will be calculated on daily basis based on Tiered Interest Rate Structure as below:

Cash Advance
18% p.a. of the cash advance amount calculated on a daily basis from the day (after) cash disbursement.

Cash Advance Fees
The cash advance fee is 5% of the amount advanced or a minimum of RM15, whichever is higher. This is imposed for each cash advance transaction.

Balance Transfer
The amount transferred will be taken into consideration when calculating the actual monthly interest free period for retail transactions on a daily basis of up to a predetermined tiered finance charge to a fixed duration. Any balance transfer sum not repaid in full within the selected period shall be subjected to the finance changes as per applicable to the Tier Interest Rate Structure.

Minimum Monthly Repayment
5% of the outstanding (LOC) balance or a minimum of RM50, whichever is higher.

Late Payment Charges
1% of the total outstanding or a minimum of RM5.00 whichever is higher up to a maximum of RM75.00.

Interest Free Period for Retail Transactions
Enjoy interest free period of 20 days from statement date, if the statement from the previous month is fully settled on or before the due date. Upon expiration of 20 days interest free grace period, finance charges for outstanding payments will be imposed.

Where Cardmember opts to pay partial or minimum payment, the finance charges as per the applicable Tier rate shall be calculated from the day the transactions are posted to the Cardmember’s Account.

Conversion for Overseas Transaction
Card transactions effected in currencies other than Ringgit Malaysia will be debited to the Cardmember’s Account after conversion into Ringgit Malaysia, at the exchange rate as determined by Visa / MasterCard on the day of conversion. The conversion rate is subject to a transaction fee of 1.5% charged by Visa / MasterCard.

Card Replacement Fee
If your card is lost, stolen or reissued (not due to damage), the replacement card fee is RM50 per card.

Credit Card Refund Fee
Credit Card Refund Fee is RM5 per request.

0% Card Easy Payment Plan Cancellation/ Early Settlement Request
For request on 0% Card Easy Payment Plan Cancellation / Early Settlement, fee will be charged at RM30 per request.

Sales Draft Request Fee
RM15 for each transaction.

Liability for unauthorised transaction
You shall not act fraudulently in the use of your Card and shall inform AEON Credit immediately upon your discovery that your Card is lost or stolen, failing which you shall be liable in full for any unauthorised transaction effected through the use of your Card prior to reporting date.
